There were about 60 churches in some way involved in the mission, with an inner circle of about 20 (mainly small ones).  There were about 200 team members.  Everything was beautifully prepared and we saw a wonderful harvest - about 700 that we know of giving their lives to Christ in three evenings.  The worship was especially lovely, with a big choir really 'going for it'.

Those who know OTM will know that there is a special and distinctive 'atmosphere' to the missions.  The extraordinary thing is that, in all four missions in Africa, in spite of the vast cultural differences, we saw this specific 'atmosphere' replicated in each place - that sense of joy, gentleness, love, peace and, most important, the presence of God.  So that - different as it was from missions at home - it was in another sense 'just the same'.

We had a wonderful team of ten from the UK and Germany, without whom the missions would never have 'flown' - and without whom we would probably have sunk!  We praise God for each one of them.  The first OTM mission in Nigeria was in Port Harcourt in 2002.
