Nairobi

This was thankfully and blessedly well organised. A wonderful committee of church leaders had thought of everything. There was great unity between the 12 or so churches directly involved, and lots of other leaders came 'to see', including leaders from another city. All said that the response to the mission was 'amazing', they hadn't anticipated it being so very good. About 400 gave their lives to Christ in three lunchtimes. The really wonderful thing is that we asked Revd Francis Mwangi, who is the Nairobi Diocese director of evangelism, if he would like to take On the Move further in Kenya and beyond. He said 'I carry this vision in my heart' – and he and the committee are entirely behind this new focus, with a mandate for much of Africa. As we left, they already had three mission bookings.
